Park Min-seo focused on Gyeongnam FC’s development.
Gyeongnam drew 1-1 with Gimcheon Commerce in the 38th round of the Hana OneQ K League 2 2023 at the Changwon Football Center at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11. With the one point, Gyeongnam overtook Bucheon FC and moved into fourth place.
Park Min-seo saved the day for Gyeongnam. Gyeongnam conceded a goal to Lee Young-joon in the ninth minute of the second half, but the team started to pick up the momentum after the goal and needed a goal to get back on track. In the 39th minute of the second half, which was frustrating without an equalizer, Park Min-seo’s bold shot from a corner kick rattled Gimcheon’s goal with luck.

I’m a little disappointed that we didn’t win, but I think the positive part of the game is that the players worked really hard.
-On his goal
Honestly, when I got hit on the foot, I thought it was just a defense, but I think it went in. In fact, when I scored the first goal, it went in a little bit on my foot, so I was nervous the whole time I was playing. I wanted to make up for it, but it was nice to get a goal and feel like I made up for it. It was good to get the team going.
-Current on what could have been
Actually, in the first half, we were a little bit behind. In the second half, we found our pace and I thought we did a good job. We came out thinking we could win the game, and we conceded the first goal, but we didn’t let that stop us. After we scored the equalizer, I thought we could use that momentum to win. Actually, I think Gimcheon did a good job because they’re a good team.
-Gyeongnam’s direction
Actually, this is the first time this season that the coach has experienced the tactical part of playing a completely man-to-man defense, as he said. We’re still trying to figure it out.
