The recruitment targets were kindergarten (6 teams), 1-2 grades (6 teams), 3-4 grades (6 teams), and 5-6 grades (6 teams) on a first-come, first-served basis. The recruitment of 24 participating teams was completed with great interest and enthusiasm. Teams will compete in a 6v6 pool league for each grade level, followed by a classic and a challenge.

The youth soccer tournament, which will be held for the third time this year, will be held at the artificial turf field at Gohan Living Sports Park in Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do, for two days from the 14th of next month.

The tournament is part of a project to develop youth soccer and revitalize the economy of abandoned mines through sports.
In addition to the games, the tournament will feature a variety of events for youth soccer players and their parents. Participatory events such as mom lifting competition, dad long kick competition, and SNS certification event will enhance the atmosphere of the youth soccer tournament.

Gangwon FC will continue to hold youth soccer tournaments to develop youth soccer and revitalize abandoned mining areas, and said it will strive to help youth players enjoy each other and build happy memories.
